Nature’s 10 is an annual list of ten people who helped shaped science in a given year. The Nature’s 10 cover always features a prominent number 10, creatively interpreted, based on a chosen theme of the year. The year this cover was created featured JWST as a key breakthrough.

Aside from the static cover image being provided in multiple sizes and formats, it was also requested that a short animation was also provided.
One part of the design for each Nature’s 10 edition is that the number 10 is incorporated in a way that is clever. One of my earlier renditions was rejected because the number didn’t meet these requirements.
